Perinaise Sauce

I used to buy peri-peri mayo…until I checked the ingredients. Now I make it at home instead!
Servings 4 serves

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup light sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 Tbsp lime juice
  • Pinch of salt and pepper

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a small bowl. Enjoy!

  • Light sour cream: ideally containing just cream, cultures and minimal additives.
  • Mayonnaise: made with simple ingredients such as olive oil, egg and vinegar or lemon juice, without artificial flavours or preservatives.
  • Cajun seasoning with no added flavour enhancers, anti-caking agents or unnecessary fillers.
  • Freshly squeezed lime juice instead of bottled varieties containing preservatives.
