Perinaise Sauce
I used to buy peri-peri mayo…until I checked the ingredients. Now I make it at home instead!
Servings 4 serves
- 1/4 cup light sour cream
- 2 Tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp cajun seasoning
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 Tbsp lime juice
- Pinch of salt and pepper

To keep this recipe closer to minimally processed foods, choose:
- Light sour cream: ideally containing just cream, cultures and minimal additives.
- Mayonnaise: made with simple ingredients such as olive oil, egg and vinegar or lemon juice, without artificial flavours or preservatives.
- Cajun seasoning with no added flavour enhancers, anti-caking agents or unnecessary fillers.
- Freshly squeezed lime juice instead of bottled varieties containing preservatives.
