Ingredients

  • 1 cup Rolled oats
  • 1 Apple grated
  • 2 Tbsp Chia seeds
  • 1 Tbsp Hemp seeds
  • ½ cup Greek yoghurt
  • ¾ cup Milk
  • ½ tsp Cinnamon
  • Berries To serve
  • Honey To serve

Instructions

  • In a bowl or jar, stir together 1 cup rolled oats, 1 grated apple, 2 tbsp chia seeds, 1 tbsp hemp seeds, ½ cup Greek yogurt, ¾ cup milk and ½ tsp cinnamon until everything is well combined.
  • Cover your bowl or seal your jars, then pop them into the fridge for at least 2 hours, or overnight if you want your bircher to be extra thick and lovely.
  • Give your bircher a good stir in the morning. If your oats have soaked up lots of liquid, add a small splash of extra milk until your mixture is nice and creamy.
  • Spoon your bircher into bowls and top with berries and a drizzle of honey, if using. Grab a spoon and get stuck into your chilled breakfast. Enjoy!
