'Banana Bread' Protein Bites

These no-bake banana peanut butter balls are a simple, wholesome snack.They’re quick to prepare, naturally sweet, and easy to store in the fridge or freezer.

Ingredients

  • 1 large ripe banana mashed
  • ½ cup natural peanut butter
  • 1 cup almond meal
  • ¼ cup flaxseed meal
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • cup dark chocolate chips
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup

Instructions

  • Mash the banana in a bowl.
  • Stir in the peanut butter until well combined.
  • Mix through the almond meal, flaxseed meal and cinnamon.
  • Add the vanilla, maple syrup and salt, and mix well.
  • Fold in the dark chocolate chips.
  • Chill the mixture for 20–30 minutes if needed, then roll into 12–14 balls.
  • Store in the fridge for up to 1 week or freeze for longer storage.
