Satay Chicken Burger
Craving a juicy burger but want to keep it healthy? Try out the Zen Hen Burger that’s just as satisfying as the original!
THE RECIPE
Serves: 4
- Total preparation time: 5 minutes
- Total cooking time: 7 minutes
Ingredients
- 4 wholemeal rolls
- 400g chicken breast
- 40g lettuce, chopped
- 1 carrot, grated
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 40g red onion, sliced
- Coriander, to serve
- 4 Tbs Parsley Dill & Tarragon Seafood Sauce (Birch & Waite)
- Satay sauce:
- 1/4 cup natural peanut butter
- 1/8 cup light sweet chilli sauce
- 1/2 Tbs light soy sauce
- 1 Tbs lime juice
- 2 Tbs water

Method –
- Heat a large non-stick fry pan over medium-high heat. Cook chicken breast for 5-7 minutes or until cooked through.
- Meanwhile, combine all satay sauce ingredients in a bowl.
- Top roll with satay sauce, lettuce, tomato, red onion, carrot, chicken, coriander and herbed mayo. Enjoy!
