Cajun Beef Taco Bowl
A vibrant and healthy twist on taco night featuring lean beef, fresh veggies, creamy avocado, and crunchy tortilla strips – all packed with bold Cajun flavours!
THE RECIPE
Serves: 4
Ingredients –
- 500g extra lean beef mince
- 2 tsp cajun seasoning
- 1 tsp extra virgin olive oil
- 200g lettuce, shredded
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 60g light shredded cheese
- 160g salsa
- 160g avocado, mashed
- 80g tortilla strips

Method –
- In a large non-stick frying pan, heat the oil. Add the beef mince and Cajun seasoning, and mix until well combined. Cook for 5–7 minutes or until the mince is browned.
- In a serving bowl, add the lettuce, tomatoes, and mince mixture, then sprinkle with cheese. Top with salsa and guacamole. Serve with tortilla strips on the side. Enjoy!
